Iran's diverse marine species introduced in Isfahan Oyster Museum

Isfahan Oyster Museum is the first specialized marine museum of the Southwest Asia, located in the amusement complex of Nazhvan Park in Iran’s Isfahan.

Isfahan Oyster Museum is the first specialized marine museum of the Southwest Asia, located in the amusement complex of Nazhvan Park in Iran’s Isfahan.

The museum encompasses a wide variety of species found in the waters of the Persian Gulf, Oman Sea, and the Caspian Sea as well as unique species from different seas and oceans of the world.

Over 900 species and 2,000 specimens of mollusks, echinoderms, and crustaceans can be found in the oyster museum of Isfahan.

The shells and oysters have been collected by Captain Hassan Khajeh for more than thirty years.

Nowruz travelers and tourists can travel to this historical city in the center of Iran and enjoy their time in Isfahan Oyster Museum.
